About Camp Loma
Camp Loma is an expansive private campsite located high in the Santa Cruz Mountains surrounded by redwoods, lush vegetation, a meandering creek and open meadows. Situated off a relatively quiet road and isolated from other camping facilities, Camp Loma has several areas for pitching tents under towering redwood tree and alongside the creek and around the meadow.

Hear me, four quarters of the world – a relative I am! Give me the strength to walk the soft earth, a relative to all that is! Give me the eyes to see and the strength to understand, that I may be like you. With your power only can I face the winds. — Black Elk. [/su_pullquote]
Although this is a tent camping experience, we are fortunate to a have a spacious, full service kitchen, staffed with a professional chef and sous chef and a large covered eating area and built in dish washing line with running hot water. Bathroom facilities with hot showers are available in two locations. There is a central playing field, a large fire pit to congregate around, an amphitheater, an Olympic size swimming pool, plus an archery range and volleyball, basketball and tetherball courts. We also set up a healing arts center where campers can give and receive body work, practice yoga, gather in council circles and attend workshops. Arts and crafts will be available throughout the week at camp.
Regarding the swimming pool, safety is our highest concern. The pool is enclosed in a fenced area and we always have a certified lifeguard on site during open pool hours. And in order to ensure the safety of everyone in camp, there will be no bicycles or pets permitted within the campsite.
